Joining one of our Kitesurfing Instructor courses will be your chance to turn your passion for Kiteboarding into a profession! For the course:
- Level 6 of the VDWS-Kiteboarding-Levelsystem ( basic jumps and gliding jumps or transition jump. Important: The VDWS-Basic-Licence does not have to be proved. See also practical video).
- Teaching experience is not necessary, but the theory from the VDWS-training folder is.
To complete the VDWS Kite Instructor Level 1 licence:
- complete Instructor course
- pass practical exam
- pass teaching exam
- VDWS Membership
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Theoretical foundations:
To acquire the necessary methodical-didactical knowledge to make kitesurfing fun for the students. Making and evaluating first teaching experiences by teaching kite lesson with real students.
- Practical basics:
To organise and carry out safe kitesurfing lessons in the basic licence at different locations with different kitesurfing systems.
Duration: 8 days
Extra costs: getting there, accommodation, equipment
- The practical kitesurfing examination can take place at a wind speed of 12 - 30 knots.
- Teaching ability will be examined by a short demonstration lesson (30 min).
During the course you will complete the written exam (90min.), which covers the course contents. It is not required for the Level 1 Instructor but it will be necessary for the Kitesurf Instructor Level 2.
